- D'oh! Forgot to mention i solved the Xbox Surround Sound mystery.
Forget using the Optical cable option unless you want to buy some high-end speakers/ amp setup (not my goal). Instead use the standard cable that comes with the Xbox. Take the scart connector off the Xbox lead (leaves you with 2 Audio and 1 Video Av leads), put the Video AV lead into your TV's Video AV port, then use the 2 Audio leads and connect them to a AV to 3.5mm jack connector (presuming you have bought surround sound speakers that terminate in 3.5mm jacks). Voila! I bought the Logitech X620 6.1 Speakers in the end, but cheaper alternatives are available.

- At long bloooooody last i have Forza Motorsport (Xbox game)... so there might not be updates to the website for quite some time ;]
- Okay... i waisted nearly 5 hours running around like toonatic trying to get a 5.1 Surround Sound setup for my Xbox, even the systems that stated they were for an Xbox seemed to have the wrong connectors! I know i'll need an Advanced Scart Cable, so i can get an Optical cable output from the Xbox, but couldn't find a set of speakers in my whole stinking city that would make use of the optical cable!!! Anyone that's achieved a 5.1 setup on the Xbox please click the 'Cont@ct' link at the top of the page and let me in on the big secret :[
