To stop your logon/profile password from expiring in Window XP:
Start
Control Panel
Administerative Tools
Computer management
Computer Management (Local)
System Tools
Local Users and Groups
Users.
Right click on your username and then left click on "Properties".
Put a tick next to "Password Never Expires".
Click the "Apply" then "Ok" buttons and then close the computer management window.
