Message dialogue before logon

To create a system message dialogue before logon using Windows XP:

Warning: Always backup the registry before making changes!

Start
run
regedit.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Microsoft
Windows NT
CurrentVersion
Winlogon.

Find, and right click on the "legalnoticecaption" key, and then left click on "Modify".
Enter the text you wish to appear as the title and then click "Ok".

Find, and right click on the "legalnoticetext" key, and then left click on "Modify".
Enter the text you wish to appear as the message and then click "Ok".

Restart.
