System Restore

System Restore - Restore to an earlier date, create a restore point or undo last restore.

Restore to an earlier date

Start
Run
msconfig
General Tab.
Click on the "Launch System Restore" button.

You will have 3 options, choose "Restore my computer to an earlier time."
Then choose a date prior to any problem you were having.

WARNING: Microsft do warn that although your personal data should reman untouched you should make a backup of any critical information/files/data.

Create a restore point

Start
Run
msconfig
General Tab.
Click on the "Launch System Restore" button.

You will have 3 options, choose "Create a restore point."
Then type in a name for restore point, no need to type the date as this will be added automatically.

Undo my last restoration.

A good reccomendation for system restore is the fact that i have never needed to undo my last restoration!
To access it go to:

Run
msconfig
General Tab.
Click on the "Launch System Restore" button.

You will have 3 options, choose "Undo my last restoration".
