Ignor Dialtone

How to set the modem to ignore the dialtone

Win 9x

control panel>> modems>> properties>> connection tab
Untick wait for dialtone.

Advanced tab>> add the following extra settings:
AT & FX3

Win XP

control panel>> (switch to classic view) phone and modem options>> modems (tab)>> Highlight the modem>> Properties (button)>> Advanced (tab).
Untick "Wait for dial tone before dialing" (bottom of the window).
