This error is due to a proxy server being set within the Internet options
Control Panel
Internet Options
Connections tab
Highlight connection
Settings.
Under the heading "Proxy Server" remove the tick from "Use a Proxy Server".
Still Within the Internet Options:
Advanced tab.
Scroll down select "Use HTTP1.1".
Apply.
OK.
